Hi Nick – you would certainly be welcome. Barton Turf Adventure Centre itself runs educational courses for schools and other organisations related to sailing and also has its own nature reserve. The meet in May is an opportunity for builders of their own boats to meet in the wonderful setting that is Barton Broad and sail, row paddle their own boats, have a go in others, swop ideas etc. There is accomodation on site and usually a barbaque is organised one night. Although the weather did not help last year a sail to to pub for a meal at Neatishead is also planned. Actual roll call and sorting out bookings/meals etc will take place in the new year mostly through the the UKHBBR Yahoo group. Hope this helps – drop me a line if you wish
