The observant amongst you will notice that I’m not wearing a BA as I step gingerly into what is at best a fairly tippy craft. I only noticed I’d left it in the car after a particularly wobbly gust out in the middle of the lake. I have to say though that the wee boat sails quite well once you get used to casually leaning over the gunwale in a nonchalant manner whilst hanging on with white knuckles.
Thank you for the chance to sail her Graham. Yes gaining the confidence to lean out is the key to sailing fast.
I enjoyed sailing her and paddling Canoodle so much I’m going to build a Selway Fisher 15′ Woodland canoe, clinker style.
It was great to met everyone again and thanks to Chris P(N).
