Sunday saw our customary cruise down Barton Broad for Sunday lunch at Neatishead. The weather gods were reasonably kind to us and apart from a few gentle gusts as we left the main Broad the wind played fair. It was enough however for the more spineless of us to reef down, essential for the camera boat to give a steadier platform! Grateful thanks to CeeDubs for being prepared to constrain his sailing for the benefit of the snapper. The thunderous deluge wated until we were safely ensconced in the Bar before hitting – although after a failed attempt at walking on water it probably wouldn’t have made any difference to one of our party.
- Believed to be a Lime Hawk Moth, it remained attached to the centre all day – probably the warmest place.
